Home Village Guide

Home Village Upgrade Planner

Plan Town Hall progress, builders, lab research, and heroes around real player time.

Home Village is the default job of Clash Max: import the village export, choose a strategy, set your sleep window, and compare upgrade schedules that keep builders and research moving without pretending every player can log in at 3 AM.

What This Page Targets

Use this guide for Home Village upgrade order and Town Hall planning

Players often search for a home base planner, Home Village upgrade order, or Clash of Clans builder schedule. Those all point to the same need: a plan that respects upgrade legality, resource gates, and the hours you can actually check in.

Upgrade Priorities

What a good Home Village plan should decide first

Pick the Town Hall path

Clash Max separates three common goals: Offense First Rush, Fastest Max TH, and Max Before TH. That keeps a rushed player from receiving the same advice as a max-everything player.

Keep builders legal and busy

The scheduler filters upgrade candidates by Town Hall, prerequisite buildings, storage capacity, current timers, and builder availability before it starts comparing schedules.

Protect the lab lane

Laboratory upgrades use their own priority setting for air, ground, farming, or general progression so troop and spell work does not disappear behind building upgrades.

Plan around sleep

Long upgrades should finish when you can actually start the next one. Clash Max models sleep windows and allowed wiggle room instead of treating every minute of the day as equally usable.

Decision Guide

When to rush, when to pause, and when to max

Rush when offense unlocks are the bottleneck

  • Use Offense First Rush when new Town Hall levels unlock stronger attacks, camps, lab levels, heroes, pets, or core army buildings.
  • Keep a builder available for mandatory buildings so the next Town Hall upgrade does not stall on placement requirements.
  • Use Gold Pass settings when your season boost changes upgrade times and research timing.

Pause when the plan exposes a real blocker

  • Storage caps can make an upgrade impossible even when the next upgrade looks strategically correct.
  • Hero Hall, Pet House, and lab requirements can block research or hero work until the supporting building catches up.
  • If canonical upgrade data is missing, Clash Max fails closed instead of inventing a fake cost or duration.

Max when your goal is stability, not speed

  • Use Max Before TH when the goal is complete base strength at each Town Hall level.
  • Expect a slower timeline because defensive, utility, hero, and research queues all have to catch up.
  • Compare variants before committing; the shortest total schedule is not always the best playstyle match.

FAQ

Home Village planner questions

Is this the same thing as a base layout planner?

No. Clash Max plans upgrade timing and order. It does not design defensive layouts or attack bases.

Can I use it for a rushed account?

Yes. The Offense First Rush and Fastest Max TH presets are designed for players who want progression speed instead of perfect balance.

Why is the guide separate from the root homepage?

The root should be the planner because it is the core product. The guide page gives search engines and players a focused explanation without burying the tool.
